THIS WEEK'S CAKES

Yummy two tier carrot cake with white chocolate ganache.  My favourite part of this cake is the figurine which matched the cookie bomboniere. The figurine and cookie was designed to match the outfit worn on the day - too cute

It was also a very special girls 5th birthday. Caramel Mud cake with white chocolate ganache.  Cake designed to match the invitation by Sweetiepie soon to be available on line but currently taking phone orders on 0434215542.  There are also matching cupcake wrappers.

I had so much fun with this wedding cake.  The couple wanted the whole family on the cake which was really sweet.

Summer Love

 

I had the pleasure of making a cake for an engagement party.  I based the design on the gorgeous invitation(parts of which I have cropped to protect personal details) as shown.  The bottom tier was chocolate mud with dark chocolate ganache and the top tier was white chocolate mud with white chocolate ganache.  When I was told the next day the cake was all eaten I was concerned that perhaps the cake was not big enough, as the cake should have served at least 70 and there were only 50 guests, however I was told people went back for seconds so that was not only a relief but a great compliment.
